Hi mate, We received our cars last Friday, I just wanted to say how happy I am with your service at all levels. The cars were in perfect order and the level of protection and the way they were packed was as good as it gets. The two top cars did leak oil but thanks to your methods and double layer of plastic protection above the lower cars they didn't see any paint contamination at all. Let your guys know what they're doing works well. Keep up the great work, I look forward to a long term relationship with you and will continue to recommend others to use your services. On another note I am also extremely happy with Irvines, the company that unpacked for us, I highly recommend them and will request their services for everything we bring in. Best Regards, G. Everitt
Car Shipping to Australia
Shipping a Car to Australia from the USA
We're with you from start to finish during the entire international shipping process. Our ocean freight contracts give us top rates and our consolidated container services for moves to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane are weekly.
Auto Transport Methods:
You can ship autos with us using a shared container, sole or roll-on roll-off. To find out the cost to transport your car to Australia using one of the shipping methods above, fill out our quote form to the right.
The roll-on roll-off method is an alternative option for international auto transport from the U.S. Not all departure ports offer the service, so options may be slightly more limited.
This is an option when handling larger vehicles such as work trucks, which is common due to Australia's mining industry. This allows you to bring additional items inside your car. With ro-ro, nothing else is allowed inside the vehicle.
U.S. Departures and AU Arrivals
We operate from five U.S. departure locations including Los Angeles, Houston, Savannah, Miami and New York. Which location you use will depend on your location and the method of shipping the car to Australia you decide on.

Information for Auto Shipping to Australia:
As set out by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, vehicles manufactured overseas do not always meet the same specification as required in Australia.
For starters, any new or used vehicle being imported must meet the safety and emission standards before it can be imported.
Before you make plans to ship a car to Australia from the USA, one must obtain an import approval. This is issued by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government.
For the reason mentioned above, it is important and we advise that you don't move your vehicle until you have been properly issued an import approval from the authorities.
If you arrive before receiving approval, you may have to pay for additional storage costs with the shipping company until the application has gone through and been processed. In some scenarios, you may even have to export the vehicle or have it destroyed at your own cost.
After passing customs and having the proper approval, the car or truck needs to get compliance plates showing that it has met the Australian design rules. Once again, if you fail to do this it can result in financial loss or the exportation or scraping of the vehicle.
It's important to mention that vehicles are normally required to be right-hand drive in the country, so make sure to check with the registration authority in the specific territory before moving to Australia with your vehicle.
